The law practice is conveniently placed centrally in the legal district of Newcastle in view of Newcastle Courts, being 5 minutes walk from Newcastle railway station and a 30 minutes drive north of Lake Macquarie.

The practice services: Newcastle Local, Disrict, Supreme and Federal Courts; Sydney Local, Disrict, Supreme, Federal and Liquor Licencing Courts; Gosford, Wyong, Toronto, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Maitland, Raymond Terrace and Belmont Local Courts.

The practice services individuals as well as businesses from drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship and Advance Care Directives through to drafting Commercial Contracts for buying and selling of businesses, assisting with Bankruptcy, Commercial Litigation and Criminal matters.

VMS also assists those people requiring Legal Aid as it is registered with Legal Aid on their Criminal Panels, Civil Law Panel and Mental Health Panels as well as being registered with the Hunter Community Legal Centre situated in Hunter street Newcastle and Co-op Legal Services Delivery (CLSD).

Prior to establishing the Legal Practice Marcel Vaarzon-Morel gained extensive commercial experience: operating a successful shipwright and boat building business in Sydney and Newcastle; managing a Millinery export business and working in the Wine Industry.

Marcel's interest and involvement in the maritime industry has spanned a lifetime from sailing through to becoming a qualified Shipwright and working in the areas of surveyor, drafting, construction and repair. Marcel now uses his extensive understanding of the boating industry and combines this with legal specialities of maritime law, commercial and contract law, intellectual property law to assist key maritime industry groups.

Marcel was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of New South Wale gaining legal experience from both small generalist and larger specialised law firms and is now regarded as an experienced and passionate advocate. Marcel is committed to developing and maintaining strong professional relationships. His personal approach to his legal practice ensures the highest quality service and prompt resolution in the best interest of his clients. His strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent research skills enables him to provide the highest levels of professional expertise.
